Managing Team Members
Add, remove, and manage roles for your team members.
Overview
The Team page lets you manage everyone who has access to your ITB Dashboard account.
Admin onlyBefore You Start
- Only Admins can invite members, change roles, or remove members. Members with other roles can see the team roster, but can't change it.
- Each member has one of four roles — from full access (Admin) down to read-only (Inspector). Roles control what a member can see and do. See the Team Roles reference for the full permission matrix.
- Admin, Manager, and Inspector members each take a paid seat on your team billing. Scheduler seats are free.
Viewing Your Team
Navigate to Team in the sidebar to see all current members, their roles, and their status.

Changing a Member's Role
Open the Member
On the Team page, click the member's row.
Pick the New Role
In the Change Role panel, select the role you want them to have.
Save
Click Save Role. The new role applies right away.
You can't change the team owner's role or your own.
Temporary Team Members
A temporary team member has access through an expiry date you choose, instead of indefinite access — useful when you only need extra hands for a short stretch, like bringing in a Inspector to help on one big job.
The earliest expiry date you can pick is tomorrow, and the latest is one month out; by default, the full one-month window is selected. Their access lasts through the end of the day you pick, in your local time zone.
Billing is prorated: adding a temporary member charges a prorated amount today for the partial period, then the seat appears on your next regular invoice like any other member. When they're automatically deactivated at expiry, any unused time is credited back.
Start the Invite
Same as adding any team member: go to Team → Invite.
Set the Duration
Toggle Duration to Temporary and pick an expiry date.

Send the Invite
Review the prorated cost preview, then send the invite.
A link elsewhere in the app — like an "Add Helper" shortcut — can land you on this same invite sheet with Temporary already selected, as a convenience.
From a member's row menu, choose Renew to give an expired temporary member a new expiry date, or Make Permanent at any time to drop the expiry and keep them on indefinitely. An existing permanent member can be converted the other way too, using the Make Temporary action.
Removing a Member
Open the Row Menu
On the Team page, click the menu button at the end of the member's row.
Choose Remove
Select Remove from the menu.
Confirm
Confirm in the Remove Member dialog. They will lose access to all team data.
What You Should See
- After a role change, the member's role badge in the roster updates right away.
- Active temporary members show an amber Temporary badge next to their role, along with their expiry date. Once their expiry passes, they appear inactive: their previous role is shown grayed out alongside a red Expired badge.
- A removed member no longer appears in the roster.
If Something Goes Wrong
- Can't click a member, or don't see the row menu? You need the Admin role to manage the team. Also, the team owner's row and your own row can't be edited or removed.
- A temporary member's access expired? Choose Renew from their row menu to restore access, or Remove them from the team.
- Blocked from inviting? See Inviting Team Members for what each invite message means (member limits, free trial, team billing).
